The lease says 'no excessive plants' but doesn't define excessive. I've started a small jungle in my apartment and I'm emotionally attached to all of them. My landlord is coming for an inspection next week.

Train your plants to hide on command. I'm not saying it's possible, I'm saying you haven't tried hard enough. Plants are smarter than we give them credit for.

Disguise them as furniture. Put googly eyes on them and tell your landlord they're your 'emotional support friends.' They can't evict emotional support.
